The Arc is proud to welcome Natalie Sallee as our newest company member and artistic associate. Natalie first appeared on The Arc Stage last year at Shakespeare on the Ridge as the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet, for which she got rave reviews. Natalie also was a part of our first annual arciTEXT and will be performing as Maria in our upcoming production of “Twelfth Night”. Here at The Arc we believe strongly in surrounding ourselves with a top notch company. Our people are our passion, and we are extremely proud of the diverse, passionate, intelligent and creative group of people we call a part of our family. Natalie fits that bill in spades, and we are excited to have her lend her talent, personality and skills as we grow. A little bit from Natalie herself:
I am so excited to be joining The Arc Theatre family! I fell in love with this company when I auditioned for their summer production of Merry Wives of Windsor. Their warmth and professionalism was so sincere that I knew immediately these were people I wanted to know and work with. Mark, Teddy and Cailin are respectful of every actor they encounter- from the audition to the callback to the casting, or not casting. It is rare to find a company that makes their actors feel so at ease and appreciated. In working with last summer on Romeo and Juliet, I feel like I grew leaps and bounds as a classical actress. The adaptations that The Arc creates are brilliant and accessible. I believe I can live up to the high standards that they set for themselves and expect from their company members. I enjoy adapting and developing new works, so I look forward to working with Marie and assisting the New Works team in any capacity. I am ready to do my part in expanding The Arc Theatre through marketing and fundraising. I believe with all my heart that this company of artists is going to dominate the Chicago theater scene very soon. I am so honored to be called an artistic associate of The Arc Theatre.
